I have found that my "new" SMC-A 3.5 35-105mm has a lovely smooth focusing mechanism. I don't think I ever had a lens that smooth before. Not even much less used lenses.
Why is that. What has changed? Is it made differently from others? I never reall understood what smothe focusing was all about - until now.
