To me it looks a little overwrought. The sky is too looming, and I think it should be dodged on the right until it matches the left. The hills on the rights are probably under exposed, I'm not seeing much detail there, and I would like to see more. If it had been shot on large format film instead of small format digital, you would have a wealth of detail in the sand, rather than a vaguely textured mid grey expanse of nothing. Also, the bottom right side appears out of focus, though I could be wrong. My eyes are a bit muddled at the moment. Scotch, if you wanted to know. Anyway, I really think that the pictures you are showing are worth the extra effort of learning to love sheet film. You have an excellent eye. I prefer the B&W rendition, though it could be improved, as I noted. Your pictures deserve a Wisner. William Robb
