We're likely looking at a 22 megapixel camera.

Regardless of Mp this camera is a breakthrough. It is small. No larger than the film 645 which means it is significantly smaller than the high-end Nikon and Canon DSLR's. This in spite of having twice the sensor area of the full-frame Canons! Can you imagine what a fantastic tool this will be for landscape/nature photographers? Due to the large sensors dynamic range is probably significantly larger than anything for the 35mm based systems. And of course the real estate issue of the sensor also comes into play.
