My 12 yr old son asked me if next time I was on e-bay I could get him one
of those 'old cameras' like I have.
I obliged and bought him a Zenit-E. After all, it was my first SLR!
The enthusiasm is there, but he has no patience. He covets my autofocus,
autoexposure camera with its zoom lens. I, on the other hand prefer my MX
with a standard lens.
He will get his auto everything camera as I know that that's what he really
wants and will use it. I will also make sure that it can be used in all
manual mode so that he does have that option if he wants to learn more.
