Thanks Gautam. I'll look at that crop. I had considered something like
that. For now, I actually added a bit of background above his head and
at left of frame. I tended to agree with Ken that the top of the photo
was too close to being tangential to his head, which seemed a bit off.

At one point there was an effective crop from a little above the eye-
brows to the bottom of the picture. Made it look very powerful
to my eyes.
