all nice catches - totally acceptable. On my monitor they appear a tad soft,
especially the full frame.

I was very pleasntly surprised with the results. This makes a very

I believe the 2nd photo is a Black Crowned Night Herron. He posed
obligingly, then turned his head to show his long white crown feathers
(@ Corkscrew Swamp near Naples, Florida).
The first photo is 1/4th of a full frame captured with autofocus on the
beach.
