Don't worry, not only does the wholesaler not stock the product, neither does Pentax Imaging the importer. Pentax's distribution center in the Philippines may or may not have it in stock. It is the modern way to do business.

It's because they probably didn't know that Pentax had no stock -- more and more often these days, online retailers don't have a stocked warehouse. When you order the product, they buy it from the wholesaler and have it shipped to you.



Rather negates the point of the term "wholesaler".  Just another level to cream 
off profit, then.
