i used to own this camera body before i bought the zx-5n. not the best
entry into the 35mm SLR market..

1) it's incredibly light, because it's almost entirely made of
    plastic.. feels like a toy..
2) the shutter flips with an incredible thud, increasing risk of
    blur due to camera shake
3) the built-in light meter has a range of 2.5 stops, one-stop over
and one-stop under (represented by a + and -, which turn from
green to red as light levels go toward either extreme).
4) the mount is plastic. my 300mm M f4 would probably break it
if i tried to use it with this body on a tripod.
5) iso is difficult to change (you have to pull the shutter speed
dial out and then twist it, remembering to change it back
every time you change between differing speed films)

.. and so on. the best thing this body did for me was push me towards
buying into the pentax line. i don't regret buying it however, because i
took some of my most treasured photos with it when i was first learning
photography. then again, i'm making much better photos with the zx-5n i
have now... so.. :)

if i could do it all over again, i would have bought a zx-m.
