I've just enabled myself with a Sigma 70-200 EX f/2.8, I've been in need of a relatively fast 200mm AF lens for some time but my budjet was limited. My thinking was to use the lens primarily as a fast 200 (no suprises there) but also as a replacement when used with the Sigma 2x EX TC for my Sigma 135-400 APO. Has anyone done a direct comparison between the two? Do you think I'm right in judging the EX + 2x TC to be better optically than the dedicated 135- 400? (there's no doubt in my mind it's better ergonomically and build quality wise)
BTW anyone looking for a Sigma 2x EX TC, I appear to have two now, asking around £70 (GBP) PayPal welcome.
