They're still replacing minis with minis. Had one replaced by Apple
service last week.

I thought about that when I first noticed it but basically I couldn't
be bothered as I used it quite often back then anyway. I don't think
it's under warranty anymore, but if I did send it back they'd probably
replace it with a nano. While I do like the nano, I bought the Mini
specifically for the belt-clip, plus it's a very nice size. When the
nano came out I was secretly hoping for a 10Gb Mini.
The problem certainly doesn't annoy me and apart from that it's worked
flawlessly.
