This is OT because it is not Pentax-related, but people have asked so here it is:

These are five shots from the first three rolls from my Leica IIIf, purchased in NYC. I picked up my prints this afternoon. Talk about anxious days! These were the first three rolls using a rangefinder - and without an internal meter! I even made a note about the esposures possibly being all over the place to the lab. They have always commented that I am extremely consistent with my exposures. At least four people in the lab say it is a joy developing and printing my rolls :-) It may not be much, but it has made me smile.

I was so pleased to see the first shot - Post No Bills - on my first roll. This one I saw out of the corner of my eye. I quickly estimated distance - the light had not changed since my last shot - and shot from the hip. I am so happy with the results.

I will let the other shots speak for themselves.

I was so anxious awaiting these prints. I have a roll sitting in the camera now, but I have been tentative seeing if the results would match my expectations. Is the shutter accurate? How about the aperture? Shall we talk about the composition? There is still a learning process I need to go through, but I am learning and heading down the right path - I think :-)

The problem I will have is finding the proper utilization of this camera/lens combination here. I am biding my time before even thinking about buying another lens :-) Now, if I were in an urban environment... I just have to await the festivals I attend and put on.

Just a gasp of air and hopefully not an annoyance on the list,
