Today I drove down south the Peninsula, to Palo Alto and Sunnyvale. I went to Weird Stuff, which is a mainstay of Silicon Valley: a warehouse selling old computers, electronic equipment, parts, etc etc.
I found a box with a few boxes of 554 Polaroid B&W film, Polapan. I couldn't resist picking up five of them at $1 each. The film expired in March of 2002. I don't even have a camera that will take it, but thought it might be fun to experiment with it, even by making a shoebox pinhole or something. Any recommendations on what to do with it? Is the film completely dry after 4 years? Should I overexpose? (the film is 100asa) Any and all suggestions welcome. I'm off to look for some representation in the web of what's inside the wrappers, so I waste as little as possible. j -- Juan Buhler Water Molotov: http://photoblog.jbuhler.com Slippery Slope: http://color.jbuhler.com
