Interesting indeed, Paul I've always thought that if someone goes out of their way to cover themselves in tatoos like that, they probably don't mind being looked at, stared at, or photographed. Presumably, the "art" was applied to be looked at. I was surprised last year when I asked a couple, both of whom were covered in tatoos, if I could take a snap of them, and they politely declined. Of course, I acceded to their wishes, but I sort of thought that if they're going to turn their skin into canvases, why wouldn't they want to "share" their art?
