I've found this to be the case as well. Some shots just don't pop on a small computer screen. I've come across scenes like this that are intriguing full scale but don't translate very well to a small photo. Still, Jens has made the most of this with a nice composition. I also find it interesting in that it describes a place that I would otherwise never see.
