The blustery cold of the January day comes through a little better in this shot than in its companion of a week ago. I'm still frustrated at not being able to reproduce the tonal gradations of the slide in the scan. For example, the slide has considerable detail in the bright area of sky that no amount of diddling with curves will preserve without screwing up something else in the pic.
