thanks John. Of course I wasn't up at 7:35 in the winter shooting birds
either.... These two were done at around 5pm (I think the camera is an
hour ahead). I thought about getting up the next morning, but when I
heard the wind howling around the house at 6am I rolled over and fell
asleep. :-)

I think is too "flat"
And yes, they were shot off a tripod. Except for flight shots, I always
use a tripod or my frying pan ground pod.
