Subject: PS Question.

I'd ask this in the Photoshop forum, but nobody likes me over there.:-)

Say you have a picture of a camera body and you want to make an out line of that body. Is there a way to extract say a mm or mm and a bit of the outside edge or do you just trace around it with the pencil tool and clean up the edges with transform or such.

I won't be around a computer with PS on it for a day or two, so i thought i best ask incase i start
off doing something the hard way first.<g>

Dave, I made a mistake in my instructions.

Put the camera on a white background and photograph it.
Do a magic wand selection of the background, invert the selection
and stroke it with a several pixel stroke. Then cut the selection and you will be left with an outline as wide as the stroke.

Sorry about that.
