Hi Frank,
Ever heard of Schödinger's cat?

This is my fault, for bringing up subatomic particles, isn't it? <LOL>
However, yes, but what was at stake was not whether the cat existed or
not, but whether it was dead or alive, and according to the paradox,
it was both dead and alive, until we opened the box to observe.
I won't even comment on the absurdity of the paradox; maybe in the
world of quantum mechanics something can be alive and dead at the same
time, but in the real observable world that we ~existing~ humans
observe, the concepts of death and life are contradictory, and can't
co-exist.
Nonetheless, even Shrodinger would have to admit that, while it may
have been both dead and alive prior to observation, it ~always
existed~!
Hah!
Gotcha!
<LOL>
cheers,
frank
The point of the exercise is actually that we change things merely by
observing. But Quantum Mechanics is wierd, and can break ones brain.
