I went out this morning a did a quick roll with the MZ-S and PK-A 100mm
f/2.8 macro.
Did I say this camera is quieter?!? I took two or three wasted pictures at
the start because I thought the camera wasn't wasn't working. I can't hear
any mirror slap, only a very faint whirrr of the winder. Even the rewind was
quiet! About the same overall noise level as my Leica Z2X rangefinder P&S
camera . . .
With the A lens in A setting, I was able to control the aperture/speed
balance with the control wheel, the viewfinder gave all the necessary
feedback on speed/aperture . . . I thought Mark said that this wouldn't
work? The electronic DOF is wonderful.
No buyers regret here!
I'll take an FA 28-105 pz lens with me this weekend and see how the
autofocus does with a pack of bike racers . . .
