Subject: Re: new fisheye zoom problems LBA in remission

While pixelpeeping I can see this fringing or "CA" on every lens on my
D. Including the 16-45. I stopped pixelpeeping (100% zoom) and now I'm
very happy with my lenses :) If I could afford it, I would buy a
10-14.

As was mentioned in a few earlier posts, the images on the pentax.fr website are essentially torture tests of the lens with regard to colour fringing. Much of this sort of thing can be negated in Photoshop, or simply ignored, since it won't be overly visible in prints anyway. The 10-17 is a fun lens, and in less abusive picture taking situations, seems to perform quite well.

I finally got round to using the old fisheye zoom on my Z1p in

on the new one for my DS, however the French Pentax site provided an
antidote!

Try Photo 3, terrible CA in the tree on the left

Not good enough for the money I feel
