I've read a lot of negative remarks about the film in various places. Many Americans don't like it - it certainly doesn't encourage me to visit LA.


Just so we're clear - there are two different movies called "Crash" that are being referenced in this thread now.....

The recent one (deals with racism in L.A. and was all over the Oscars this year) and one from a few years back, which dealt with people who, if I've heard correctly, derive a sort of kinky pleasure from witnessing auto accidents? Did I summarize that one correctly?
