I woke up to blue lights and sirens @ 2am this morning. Turned out to be a
huge fire raging less than 100 yards from the house. So like any sane
citizen would do (?), I grabbed my camera and ran towards it.

They're not the sharpest photos, but I think they came out 1/2 way decent
considering it was raining... freezing... and I was still in my pajamas. I
had never used the ist-D @ night, so I was pretty impressed. Most photos
are @ f4, but quite a few are wide open @ f2.8. All were taken @ ISO1600.

Anyhow, here's the gallery as was sent to the local news channels.

The gallery is HUGE, so you'll probably have to be selective. The first 70
photos were taken from my front yard. Once the fire was out, I ventured a
little closer for the last dozen or so. Enjoy.
