I worked the curves tool a bit here, to lift some colour out of the
person's silhouette. Not sure if I actually like it best this way, but
I preferred it over the silhouette. Wish I had popped up the
flash...:-)

Composition is exquisite, and I love the exposure of the sky and
snow,
especially like those shimmering snow crystals.
For me, though, I'd prefer the skiier to be either properly exposed
or
a silhouette. He seems to be stuck betwixt and between here. I
guess
short of fill flash there's not much you could do about it, and
indeed, maybe you prefer it this way in any event.
