I think it should be the same as the one in the DS. However, apart from the
11-segment AF frames, I cannot tell a way to spot the different surface
finish. Maybe the best test will be comparing a DS and your DS2 by looking
thru the viewfinders (with the same lens, of course).
And is there any way to determine whether or not the eyepiece is
multi-coated?
If it looks clear, like any regular glass looks, it's uncoated.
If it shines green, it's coated. DL does that.
