On the way to working entirely with digital capture, I spent a year or two working a lot with 6x4.5 and 6x6 formats with Zeiss Ikon, Mamiya, Fuji and Hasselblad cameras. I found the cost and aggravation of doing color work entirely too much and worked nearly exclusively with B&W films. Did all my processing myself, as well as all my own scanning and printing.

I seriously love medium format film work, but for the size prints I make I find it overly costly and without any real benefit over using a 6-10 Mpixel DSLR. The Hasselblad 903SWC is one of my favorite cameras. I sold mine to fund the Pentax *ist DS plus lenses kit, and have not regretted that at all.
