From Pentax standpoint, what good would it do if this gear is not on the shelves, and when it is, sellers keep advertising Canon and Nikon, just because "everybody nows that Nikon and Canon are waaaaay better than all the others" ?
My limited personal experience showed that most people wanting to buy a camera rather go and ask to friends rather than reading a review in a good magazine.
Of course MY friends now use Pentax since I showed them how it's used and what results one can get with it, but Mr X friends have Nikon and Canon gear...
