Hi Markus I had some problems with musicians wearing black standing in front of deep red velvet curtains, and since then have also shot colour neg Fuji 800 pushed to 1600 ISO to try to separate the musician from the background. If you are happy with Fuji 1600, that certainly would be a good solution.
