I've been meaning to do this for a little while. Was a bit rainy last night, and since it has come up again recently on the list, I went through my collection of A and AF lenses to see what is actually recorded in the EXIF lens tag.
* The Pentax F, FA and DA lenses are all reported accurately as you would expect * The 1.7x adapter doesn't report anything, also, as I guess, you would expect * Sigma lenses are read incorrectly most of the time (the 20mm/1.8 is correct) * I don't have too many Tamron or Tokina lenses, but they aren't read correctly. Interesting
