Kodachrome, like any colour film, has no silver content when processed.
The problem with scanning Kodachrome is that the D-Max is high enough to be
outside the range of most, if not all, scanners.
I compared D-Max on K64 to that of Fuji Velvia one time, the Kodachrome had a significantly higher D-Max.


I believe it. Kodachrome scanned images look so compressed. Their projection looks so alive.
