I don't know, that's a question only you can answer.
I was asking what your answer to that question was as you seem to be
inclined to rationalize the cost of the Nikon and Canon lenses.
The answer for me was simple ... I didn't want to pay that price
difference and chose the Pentax DS and DA14mm lens so that I
wouldn't. The Canon bodies I would have fit it to (Canon EOS IX and
Canon EOS 10D) have very close to the same format as the Pentax DS.
