Markus,

I am not Frank, but I will chime in...
I almost always have a digital camera with me - *ist D and Optio S or now the S6. At work when I need to take a photo the immediate need demands a digital camera. Likewise when I shoot at festivals and sporting events where people are paying my expenditures I shoot digital for the quick turnaround for use in solicitations, advertisements and such.

When I travel I take the *ist D/Optio combination and a couple of LXen. I enjoy the archival quality of slide film and document my travels with the LX. Because of size I can carry the digital and up to three LX cameras. I usually grab the LX because it feels so comfortable in my hands and the accessories I can use in mid-roll with it. Unfortunately, I have not taken my other 35mm film cameras - to include screwmount - to shoot in a bit. I may have to work them into the rotation...
When space is at a premium, the *ist D will be left behind.

Around here and even when I travel close to home, I tend to try to take along my medium format. Usually I shoot the 645n because of my lens options. I only have a 90mm for my 67, but have been enjoying shooting with it since a PDMLer has been gracious enough to loan me a few lenses for a while. Funny, once I shoot the 67 the 645 film looks so small; we will not even mention how the 35mm looks in comparison :-)

Hi Frank
How do you decide if you use your Leica, the Pentax LX or the Pentax
Spotmatic? That's the ones I saw mentioned with your PESO, I'm quite sure
you got even more cameras?
I found out, that being in sentimental mood I use the older cameras like the
ME Super and now the Spotmatic F a lot more.
The some weeks ago purchased Spotmatic F also got a lot of use lately
because of the 85mm SMC Takumar 1.8 and I just love the built quality and
handling.
greetings
Markus
