Thanks for your concern, Markus. That's right, I want a SP 5.6 200-500mm - some day ;-) 850 Swiss Franks (650 USD) is too high, since - B&H recently had one (8+) for 415 USD. I belive Sweitz is not a member of the EU, which means I must add 25% tax and some Duty. Before it gets here I will have spent more than 800 USD. At the moment I can't really afford to buy more equipment, so I'll just give the cheap, crappy lens a chance ;-) And perhaps it's not all that crappy - we'll see about that... My tests so far don't show huge deviations from the results of my FA 80-200mm or my M* 4/300mm :-). But it is SLOW - and immensely heavy and bulky like a bazooka ;-) Regards
