While I think that Paul's post was, perhaps, a little of an over- reaction, I think it's understandable. After all, if somebody stands up and says working with film is great, and all this digital messing around isn't really photography, then all sorts of folks will rush to support the viewpoint. But if somebody says that digital is easier, and in almost all cases at least as good as using film, and that all this playing around with smelly chemicals is just masturbation, people get really offended. Perhaps they don't like *their* religion being belittled, either? Or, perhaps, it's not religion at all, and that was just another cheap crack.
