Well, you asked for an opinion. These comments are intended in good
faith and are meant to be constructive.

Good photos, but you know that.

You say on the pricing page that you'll travel anywhere within 60 miles,
but I couldn't figure out where you are. I'm guessing somewhere in TX
from the 'Events' page...you might want to add some detail to your
'personal' page. Talking about your approach to photography might be
nice.

Also, your site looks like it's intended to be commercial in nature, but
you have some personal stuff in there. I think you should be careful
with that kind of thing if you're really intending to get business from
your site. It *should* reflect your personality, but it shouldn't give
the appearance that it's a personal site - as if you were just dabbling
in professional photography.

On your pricing page, you say a 5x7 sports pic is $5 and an 8x10 is $8.
Are you going to charge that for wedding/portrait prints? If so, that is
*exceptionally* cheap. If not, how will you explain the difference to
your wedding clients?

I think you need at least a ceremony shot on your wedding samples page.
Some color might be nice too. Even people who are b+w freaks want some
color, or their parents do. It kind of looks like the photos are all
from the same wedding...people might assume you've only done one.

I think your portrait prices are low. It's also unclear what the process
is. Will you do locations or do they need to come to a studio? Will they
get proofs? I also don't understand the idea of saying you'll shoot x
amount of film.

You should consider getting your own domain name...in fact, if I were
you, I'd get 2 - one for the wedding/portrait/event stuff, one for the
sports stuff. Or maybe wedding/portrait, sports/events.

Oh...that "All Prices Negotiable" blurb. I'd lose it. I suspect
Wheatfield may be driving south right now to beat you about the head
about it.

If they really want to negotiate, they will. It's not something you
really want to encourage. Set your prices, stick to them, negotiate if
they have something you want. Otherwise they're just talking you down.

Again, the photos are really good, the layout is pretty nice, and I
think you've done a good job overall.

Good luck!
