There are a few that I know. LAT (official photographers of Champ Car) have Lesley Ann Miller on their strength, and one of National Speed Sports News' photographers is female. And if you can bring yourself to watch "Drivel^Hn", you'll see another one (whose name escapes me at present). The most unusual example that I know is one of the very few accredited freelance photographers in F1 - in general you need to be working for a known (and approved) publication or agency to get an F1 credential.
