It's simple.   Language is the first art.
Just make your photos "talk". Give each shot an intentional message that you want to communicate.
Learn to speak in the language of pictures.

What's the best place to learn this is -- books. Especially check out ancient documents or even modern documents where verbal imagery is used to communicate ideas. Read the Judeo-Christian writings. The Psalms are full of wonderful pictures of wings, rocks, shelter, and so much more. Put the picture
into a graphic and you've got it.

Go see the movie "End of the Spear" and note the terminology used by the Waodani tribe.
