Yes.

Yes, it is quite easy to handhold because of its relatively small
size and weight. For handhold shots however it is a good idea to
remove tripod mount as one of tightening screws gets somewhat in the
way of right hand. Both tightening screws doesn't allow for rotation
of built in tripod mount ring - they hit protruding part of D/Ds/Dl
prism. So for vertical shots on tripod you will to set camera and
lens to vertical position using tripod's head. Otherwise handling of
this lens is excellent.
