I've used it. The camera store where I usually shop would get a
bunch of it in February, and run out in July, and not get any
more until the next February, but this year they never got any
at all. If Konica has discontinued it, that'd explain it. Funny
that I hadn't heard anything about it being discontinued -- but
maybe so few people used it that it didn't get talked about much?

If it's gone, that means my choices for colour at that speed all
involve paying for push processing -- push Supra or Press, or
push Provia 1600.

Hmm. Won't help me for my trip to the Pennsic War in a day
or two, but I'll have to check that out when I get home and
see what that works out to (with shipping) in US dollars.

I find that it looks pretty much the same as Super HG 1600, but
I'm more likely to properly expose it in the situations where
I'd reach for either. I don't use it often, 'cause it's pretty
expensive for something that grainy, but when I really want the
subject in colour in near-darkness, it's been that or Provia so
far, and Provia 1600 isn't cheap either (plus the cost of getting
prints from slides). Provia has better colours than SR-G, and
the "grain" looks _different_ (well, being a slide film after
all), but you still start losing fine details at the higher
speeds.

(So what do I _usually_ do? Shoot TMZ. But I like to have
options.)
