I'd ask him to move, but he's 100% in the sun:-). The main illumination is crosslight from the left, so the side of his head is shaded a wee bit, but I think the flash fills in nicely. But thanks for the input.

I took a look at the RAW of my snake pic. It was as warm as the converted version, but I cooled it down a bit anyway. I think this may be a bit more accurate. But the snake was definitely not leaning toward the green. Perhaps because it was so young, or maybe because of the season. I also loosened the crop. It's still not a great pic, but it's better. And I think it will be a worthwhile addition to my nature center show. It's here:
