What is it that you don't like about it?
I found the hexagonal out-of-focus highlights rather disturbing. And as I
bought it as a low-light lens, they popped up quite often :/ So far the
A50/1,4 seems better, though I must admit I only took pictures with
daylight so far.
Apart from that the focussing ring of my A50/1,7 squeaks when the lens is
mounted on a camera (it doesn't when it isn't). But that's not a big deal.
