I'm just curious to know how many people are not shooting raw, and why that
may
be.
The first 3k images from my *istD were all highest quality jpeg . Had two
gallery showings with prints from these jpegs, sold some.
I recently upgraded my PC enough to handle CS2. I began shooting Raw right
after that because I now could handle the files.
I've accumulated 6-700 Raw images. I'm not seeing a significant, if any
improvement, in my images due to Raw. I don't fiddle with white balance &
can generally get the exposure where I want it.
Shooting Raw mainly as an exercise. Might eventually return to jpeg capture.
This is from a slide shooter that pitched it if it wasn't right out of the
camera.

Subject: Who's Not Shooting Raw?
Hi, I don't want to start a flame war, or get anyone's undies in knot.
I'm
just curious to know how many people are not shooting raw, and why that
may
be. Please, no flames or judgemental comment. We all know raw has
advantages, and in some circumstances can be a better choice than shooting
JPEGs.
