My three old grandson is about to go digital. A friend has a old Kodak
1.3Mp with a broken flash, which they no longer want. I'll be getting it for
him. It'll be interesting to see if he finds it fun, and can relate to
the images on the screen.
Naturally he already has a computer - a better one than I had up to a
few months ago !! Its amazing to see how naturally he took to using
a computer. He is very comfortable using a mouse to 'paint' images,
or navigate through various games. A couple of times he's
surprised my wife by finding the printing menus and printing off
his artwork. He's not a genius, just a typical three year old, and its
amazing to see how fast they can pick up things, which us old geezers
might have problems doing.
I haven't introduced him to Photoshop yet - maybe once he turns four :)
