Looks to me like the red channel blew out a bit on capture.
Take a look at it in photoshop, and look at the individual
red/green/blue curves.
You might be able to recover it a bit using the curves tool to
increase the contrast at the top end, to pull down the reds a bit.
Play around with it, and see what looks best.

Next time you're shooting in a similar situation/light, try bracketing
down a bit, to see if that helps. I'm not sure about DSLR's, but my
Optio S will happily saturate one of the color channels without
telling you in the histogram.

Though other than the blown-out reds, I like these pictures. :-)
