The Crown Range road (NZ's highest sealed road) is the most suitable
one I can think of. I don't have any pics of the bottom section, but
a Google Image search turned up a suitable photo.

I'm not sure if rental car agencies will allow you to drive on it
yet. They probably do, now that it's sealed :)
The old Arthurs Pass zigzag was also a very interesting bit of road,
but that was replaced with a viaduct in 1999.
