On that topic:
1) I have a "Standard Camera Cleaning Set" made in
Japan with blower brush, lens tissue, cotton buds, and
cleaning solution. What is the cleaning solution
likely to be? Is it safe? I think the diagrams show
that you can clean your lenses with it.
2)I "acquired" a few isopropyl alcohol wipes from the
hospital where I work. Are these safe for cleaning
say, Spotmatic internal meter contacts? Or lenses
(outside only)? I assume the alcohol would just
evaporate and not leave any residue, is this correct?
