Well, Comcast cable is available in Sunnyvale too. I have their cable
service for television. I'm not impressed with them here: I've had
more outages than I care to remember.
SBC/AT&T DSL has been 100% reliable, not a single outage in the past
year. In terms of practical speed, the DSL I've got is about as fast
as I can use anyway, although it would be nice if upload were at the
same rate as download.
