Bob,

I use "Save for Web" when I'm posting PUGs, or posting
PESOs on photo.net.  Both require jpgs with the
metadata stripped--i.e. saved for web.  The original
scanned files on my computer are TIFFs; at the moment
the ist D output is highest-quality jpgs, but I'll
probably give RAW a try in the next month or so.
