Agreed. I play songs buy artists like Joe Cocker, Melanie, The Bee Gees, Mr and Mrs Garfunkel, The Hollies, Otis Redding, Maria Callas, etc. And works by Segovia, Mozart, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky and a few others.

I find the Shirelles recording I have of 'Love me Tomorrow' a bit thin. I also play stuff like the Rodrigo Concerto, a lot of classic guitar stuff and even the Beatles once in a while. But despite an almost omnivorous appetite for music there are some artists to whom I cannot listen. Elvis Presley is top of that list.

I have a Wurlitzer jukebox in my basement studio. It's the repro version that plays CDs. It's stocked with 50 CDs, all of the music is from about 1940 to 1970. A number of Shirelles songs are on tap, including Shel's favorite. It's right next to my computer workstation, so I frequently play something while working.
