You forget that the digital back cost 2-3 times the price of a
digital camera. And that you are stuck with that same old camera.
You also forget that hardly anyone in the grand scheme of things are
using digital backs anyway. Digital backs aren't exactly hot
selling items. The digital MF market is wide open.
If you buy a digi-back, you're stuck with the camera, but have a new
back.
If you buy a dedicated digi-camera, your stuck with both the camera
AND the back.
Your argument doesn't make sense this time, Pål.
