Hi!

Here's another one from the Cassis little harbor town in France
riviera (some of you will remember the lighthouse).

Not very original, and I'm a bit disappointed that the harbor area
contains so many elements that impact the readability of the image.
Maybe it's not the best place in the world to make a 360° pano after
all.

I'm not sure if my own shadow is a problem or not.

*ist DS + Sigma 18-125 @ 18mm, 1/1000s, f/8
26 vertical images (2x13) stitched with Hugin/Enblend and a bit of
post-process in CS2.

With this amount of pixels, I could crank out a 2m by 60cm 220 dpi
print, but I'm not sure anyone would be willing to pay for it!

Patrice, I think standard dpi measure is either 240 or 300... So it will have to be slightly smaller or slightly up-ressed.

Now, I have an idea... As an exercise for photographers they should be given a panorama image and a frame mask... The goal would be to extract a single frame image (with the mask) that would work.

I for one really like the lighthouse as it appears if I were to look on the left most part of the panorama. Strangely enough this Sigma lens holds the counter-light very well...
